Requirements:
Formal qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
Experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry
Strong technical skills in electrical fault-finding and maintenance
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is often a plus
Job Descriptions:
Perform planned and preventative maintenance, and respond to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
Supervise and direct the work of the shift’s electrical team, including task assignment, training, and performance feedback
Ensure all electrical work complies with health, safety, and food safety standards, and conduct safety audits
Oversee electrical systems to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production lines to meet targets
Drive initiatives for root cause analysis, implement solutions, and contribute to process and quality improvements
Manage the engineering stores and ensure necessary parts and supplies are available
Prepare and submit shift reports on performance, incidents, and other key metrics
